I am a positive psychology coach dedicated to helping you successfully navigate through difficult life transitions.
We all encounter several transitional points as we journey through life. For some, it’s transitioning from life before divorce to life after divorce or transitioning from one career to another. Regardless of what the transition is, it marks a pivotal point of change in our lives.
How I made it through the transitional periods in my life are due in part to my desire to embrace and apply the principles of positive psychology to my own life.
One significant life transition for me was the decision to change careers. I spent several years working in the health care field after obtaining my doctorate but decided to take a break so I could spend more time with my kids.
As my children got older, I wanted to go back to work but I was no longer passionate about my past life as trauma registrar. A therapist, and good friend, then recommended a program in positive psychology and everything changed after that.
The theory, practices, and tools of positive psychology helped me to transition to a better version of myself. Since then, I went on to complete certifications in Applied Positive Psychology and Applied Positive Psychology Coaching so that I can help others to benefit from this life-changing approach.
I am passionate about the value of positive psychology in our lives and it has become my mission to share this message with others through my coaching practice.
I believe in coaching because it is about moving forward and is solution-focused. It’s about navigating from where you are now to where you want to be.
